ITS Web Hosting Options

ITS provides the following options for providing Web Hosting on ITS servers. Please read the options carefully before selecting to avoid delays during the application review.

Option 1: For System (www.hawaii.edu/<sitename>) and Manoa (manoa.hawaii.edu/<sitename>) URLs, ITS provides a WordPress multisite option. This multisite option provides an ADA compliant theme. In addition, ITS will maintain all Wordpress updates for the multisite configuration. But please note the plugin installs are not available under this option to maintain site stability and portability. To choose this option, please click on the button "UH Web Hosting Services (WordPress)."


Option 2: If your department, needs to develop a specialized database application, standalone Wordpress, or Drupal site you may choose our PHP/MySQL option. To choose this option, click on the button "PHP/MYSQL Service."
